Cancellation policy

HOW TO BOOK

1.- The customer requests room/course/camp availabilty with dates and number of people by e-mail or telephone.
2.- Once the availability is confirmed, we send information regarding the budget, indicating the deposit required to confirm reservation. This deposit must be paid by bank transfer within 48 hours. The rest is paid in CASH or CARD upon arrival to our center.
3.- If the customer failed to make a deposit during 48 hours after we have sent the e-mail with the quote for their reservation and confirmation of availabilty, or provided the necessary information over telephone or text, they need to contact us to check again the availability, otherwise Zoopark Famara is not liable for any overbooking.

 
 

CANCELLATION POLICY

1.- If the client decides to cancel the reservation, it must be notified to Zoopark Famara at least thirty (30) days before the date of the beginning of the reservation, in this case the client is entitled to a refund of the amount paid, minus twenty-five euros (25 €) in concept of management fees.

2.- If the cancellation is notified by the client to Zoopark Famara less than thirty (30) days before the date of the beginning of the reservation, the client will NOT be entitled to the refund paid. In this case the amount paid will be kept for a future reservation within a period not exceeding one year, during which the client can select a new date to complement the course and surfcamp depending on availability.

3.- If the cancellation is notified less than seven (7) days before the arrival date or the beginning of the course, the client will not be entitled to a refund of the money paid as deposit.

Zoopark Famara states that with the payment of the deposit both parties agree on the conditions that have been exposed in the final e-mail, or have been discussed by telephone or text. Modifications can be made upon the arrival to the school but they can never be inferior to the original booking in number of clients, days or price. Otherwise, Zoopark Famara reserves the right to refund the money.

 
 

CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

In the case of cancellation as a consequence of COVID-19 effects (Confinement, cancelled flights, illness…) and as long as the cause is demonstrable, we offer 2 possibilities:

1. We keep the deposit paid and give you a voucher without expiration date so that you can enjoy your vacation again as soon as the situation allows it (cancelling at least 48 hours in advance)

2. We cancel the reservation and refund the deposit paid minus a €25 handling fee. In this case if you book with us again we will offer you a discount of €25 off the reservation so you don’t lose anything (cancelling at least 7 days in advance)

 
 

CANCELLATION OF ACTIVITIES DUE TO BAD WEATHER OR LACK OF CONDITIONS:

1.- If the contracted activities (Surf, Kite, Sup) are canceled due to weather conditions (a lot of rain or extreme wind or sea conditions) orlack of appropriate conditions for the practice of such activities (lack of waves in the case of Surf and lack of wind in the case of Kite), Zoopark Famara will offer the client the following possibilities:

.- Change of date for the booked activity.
.- An alternative activity.
.- If the customer cannot change the dates or is not interested in alternative activities, they will be offered a voucher equivalent to the price of the booked activity valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
