Hi, welcome to our Famara surf and kitesurf school

We have the very first surf and kitesurf shop on the left as you enter the town of Famara in Lanzarote.

We are very pleased to be able to offer the visiting surfer or kitesurfer a great selection of equipment to hire or buy. Our shop is open everday and is only a few meters from the beautiful beach of Famara.

Famara beach is one of the most dramatic and natural beaches in Lanzarote. Set at the foot of the huge and vibrant 650 metre high cliffs of El Risco the beach has a very special atmosphere and energy. The golden sand of the beach stretches around the base of the cliffs for over four kilometers. You will have plenty of room to enjoy whichever water activity you chose to participate in.

Surf lessons in Famara

The waves break pretty much everyday of the year allowing you to enjoy the surf all year around. If you are just getting into this fantastic sport then we can offer you some very good Famara surf lessons. More experienced wave riders are welcome to come into our shop and browse through the selection of surf clothing, boards and accessories. If you dont want to go through the hassle of transporting your surf board on the aeroplane all the way to Famara beach then we have a selection of surf boards we can hire to you.

There are different levels of surfing course to suit whatever level you are at. Surf lessons include boards, wet suits and all equipment.

The waves along Famara beach break on sand and are therefore safe for beginner to intermediate level surfers. If you are new to the sport it is a good idea to seek some instruction to become familiar with rip tides, different surf conditions and general water safety. You can save yourself a lot of time and effort by letting our local surf experts explain the basics.

Kitesurf lessons in Famara

We offer a full range of Kitesurf lessons in Famara to suit all levels. Just book you lessons and leave the rest to us. We supply all the equipment and know how to get you up and kitesurfing in no time at all. Famara beach is an ideal location for all levels of kitesurfer. The prevailing Northerly winds are the perfect direction and the large beach has plenty of room for everyone. If it gets busy in one part of the beach then there will be plenty of room a little furhter along.
