SURF LESSONS IN FAMARA

We offer you a broad variety of surfing lessons on Famara beach so you can improve your wave riding skills

BEGINNER SURFER COURSE

If you have never stood on a surfboard before, don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong about that. Famara beach is an excellent place to learn to surf. The waves are perfect for growing your confidence as we teach you the skill of standing on a surf board.
Highly motivated experts in teaching will get you going from the very beginning so that you can reach your goals. All of you who participate in this course are beginners just like you .Our classes have a duration of 6 days and there’s also the possibility to do a course of less days, just as you prefer.
In these days you’ll be in the water ever day, so that after 6 days you’ll notice that your level has gone up day by day.(You can also have a one day course, if you want but we recommend classes of 6 or more days in order to make you independent.)

GOALS:

In this course you’ll achieve the following:

.intro to the marvellous world of surfing the safe and fun way
.you’ll learn how to paddle waves at the right time and moment
.technique and practice of :entering and leaving the water, paddling, position on the surfboard, balance, turns to the right and left, speed control, etc…
.knowledge of your surroundings: tides, wind, waves, etc…
.security and safety in the water

And above all that the security of knowing that you have gone from the tipical ”I cant do it” to standing upon a surfboard, this is what makes you get over your initial fears and limitations,feeling the power of nature under your feet..

We can also offer you a pick up service from and to your hotel at an additional cost of 30€ (per day not person with a minimum of 2 pers.)

Level two ( intermediate surfers)

If you already have done some surfing but wish to improve your level whilst being guided by professional surfers, like those of our surf team then this is your course!!

Our monitors will keep an eye on you, helping you to correct your mistakes and soon you will notice how your surf gets better.
When you book this course you’ll be able to try out several different boards, depending on water conditions and your level.
This course is held on the same beach as the beginners course but well find a different spot on the beach that adapts to your level.
